Job summary

Gracious Hardwood Flooring, located in Oakville, ON, is seeking a Warehouse supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills and start work at the earliest opportunity.

This is a permanent, full-time role with flexible shifts across Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, Early Morning and Morning. The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee staff, manage inventory, generate reports, and ensure accurate scheduling andpayments.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required with strong communication skills.
• College/CEGEP certificate or diploma (3 months to <1 year).
• Ability to supervise and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff (apprentices, design team, etc.).
• Organize and maintain inventory.
• Prepare reports on sales volumes and merchandising.
• Establish work schedules and authorize payments by cheque.
• Hire and train or arrange staff training.
• Coordinate activities of workers in a retail/wholesale setting.

• The candidate will be responsible for conducting performance reviews.

• The candidate must exhibit designers plan and develop permanent, temporary, or moveable exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces, and other exhibitions.

• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
