Job description

Supervise daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient workflow.

Lead, mentor, and train a team of 20-25 employees.

Effectively communicate goals, performance feedback, and areas for improvement to the team.

Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain high standards for shipping precision.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment.

Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety regulations, and best practises.

Collaborate with the operations team on continuous improvement initiatives and projects.

Manage inventory and merchandise location.

Analyse, plan, improve, and communicate key warehouse performance indicators.

Work collaboratively with purchasing, engineering, design, and planning departments.

Be available for special assignments in continuous improvement.

Meet quality objectives (ISO 9001) while adhering to the quality management system guidelines.

Be capable of managing conflicts and challenging situations.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Strong analytical and synthesis skills with an understanding of operational needs.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills; autonomous, highly available, proactive, and well-organised.

Familiarity with MRP systems and just-in-time methodologies.

Solid experience working in an ISO 9001 environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills and practical knowledge of Power BI are required.

Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of effectively managing multiple priorities.

Excellent leadership, team-building, and staff training abilities.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Bilingualism (French and English, written and spoken) is necessary to ensure effective collaboration with stakeholders outside Quebec.

Required Education and Experience:

College diploma (DEC or technical school diploma) or university degree (bachelor's degree).

Fields such as industrial engineering, logistics, or related disciplines will be preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of warehouse experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
