Job Description

Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Mirabel, Quebec, Canada

Duration: Full-time role

Responsibilities

• Organize the work of the production crews during each shift and plan for the next day with the flight coordinator.
• Manage priorities, assign work to the right resources according to the skill list.
• Evaluate the resources needed for the work to be done.
• Supervise and support the blue-collar team on technical aspects and processes.
• Act as a reference for production activities.
• Coordinate with Quality for direct inspections when needed.
• Ensure each shift meets the objectives set by the client and flight coordinator.
• Ensure manufacturing milestones are achieved.
• Escalate encountered problems and follow up with support functions (aircraft coordinator, logistics, method, quality, engineering).
• Validate hours for the entire production team.
• Participate in meetings to advance or improve the project.
• Evaluate the performance of production teams.
• Handle administrative follow-up with employees (badge applications, welcome days, stamps, tools).

Skills and Qualifications

• Professional Studies Diploma in structural assembly/aeronautical construction or an equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of management experience in the aeronautics or a related advanced sector.
• Autonomous with good judgment and discernment.
• Ability to work as part of a team, influence, mobilize, and guide various departments.
• Strong sense of responsibility, with skills in delegation and prioritization.
• Commitment to quality and rigor in work performance.

Required Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
