Job Description

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the incumbent of the position is responsible for the planning and execution of all warehouse shipments/receiving operations and inventory management.

Specific functions:

  • Create manifests for daily shipping needs
  • Plan transfers/pick-ups
  • Generate pick lists for the daily schedule
  • Picking and shipping of orders on time
  • Responsible for handling complaints with carriers
  • Supervise warehouse staff with the help of the operations manager
  • Maintain order and cleanliness in the warehouse
  • Comply with all security policies and procedures and ensure the safety of warehouse employees
  • Conduct monthly inspections of the workplace and send it to the Director of Human Resources
  • Perform inventory accounts
  • Work collaboratively with the branch administratorto ensure inventory accuracy
  • Assist in hiring warehouse staff
  • Other assigned functions

Qualifications

  • Min. 1 year of forklift experience
  • Min. 1 year of warehouse supervision experience
  • Experience from building materials industry - considered an assent
  • Excellent communication skills; must be able to work well with others.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Possesses superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with Minimal supervision
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Attention to details
  • Demonstrate leadership in achieving the company's short- and long-term goals.
  • Basic computer skills required in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lift
  • Overtime may be required
