Job summary

Canadian Tire is looking for a Warehouse Associate to ensure products are received, verified, stored, and transported safely within the warehouse. The role involves handling merchandise of varying weights throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• No experience is required; training provided.
• Ability to handle physical demands including standing and walking for 8 hours with lifting.
• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to find solutions, adapt to challenges and make decisions.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift and/or skyjack (scissor lift) certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive, scan, verify and store all incoming products.
• Store overstock.
• Ship returns, process damaged claims and complete paperwork.
• Ensure inventory accuracy.
• Dispose garbage and cardboard.
• Operate all warehouse equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
