Job summary

Canadian Tire in New Liskeard, Canada, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to help receive, verify, store, and move products safely and efficiently. You will handle merchandise of varying weights and support the store’s logistics and customer service efforts.

The role involves standing for long periods, lifting items, and operating warehouse equipment. Training is provided, with flexible shifts and opportunities for growth within a family-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• No experience is required!!! – We will provide all the training you need!
• Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning and reaching
• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week-ends and holidays)
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make decisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask
• Certification in forklift and/or skyjack (scissor lift) (asset)

Responsibilities

• Receive, scan, verify and store all incoming products.
• Store overstock.
• Ship returns, process damaged claims and complete paperwork.
• Ensure inventory accuracy.
• Dispose garbage and cardboard.
• Operate all warehouse equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
