Job summary

Fuze HR Solutions in Halifax, Nova Scotia is hiring a General Laborer with WHMIS certification to support a warehouse shelving installation project. Full-Time, project-based, 7am–7pm, Monday–Friday, $25/hour.

Training provided; no prior experience required. Responsibilities include assembling and installing shelving, loading/unloading materials, using hand and power tools, keeping the site clean, following supervisor instructions, and wearing PPE.

Qualifications

• Must have WHMIS certification to work on site
• Experience on a construction site using hand tools is preferred
• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work
• CSA-approved safety boots required

Responsibilities

• Assist with assembling and installing warehouse shelving.
• Load, unload, and move materials.
• Use basic hand and power tools.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow instructions from supervisors.
• Work safely and wear required PPE.
• Perform other general labour duties as assigned.
