Job summary

Staples Canada is seeking a Warehouse Bulk Selector in Amherst, NS, Monday to Friday, 11:00am–7:30pm. The role focuses on receiving, storing, and moving products within the warehouse, using forklifts and other equipment.

You will scan items, verify orders, and support team operations to ensure efficient warehouse performance. Applicants should have at least three months of warehouse experience, familiarity with equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, and a willingness to become certified.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) months' related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklift, cherry picker and pallet jack preferred.
• Ability and interest to become certified in the operation of warehouse equipment will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties under the direction of warehouse supervisor or manager.
• Use hand-held scanners to enter product information while ensuring accuracy.

Warehouse Address: 9 Tantramar Crescent, Amherst, NS B4H 4J3

Shift Time: Monday-Friday (11:00am - 7:30pm)

Wage: $17.90 - $18.90

Some of what you will do:

Receive, store, and move products around the warehouse using equipment. Perform work under the direction of warehouse supervisor or manager.

Work requires moderate physical effort and the use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity to perform the essential duties of this job:

The employee will regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee may lift, lower, or carry products up to a maximum of 50 pounds by hand.

The employee will operate warehouse equipment. Using proper safety procedures will eliminate any potential hazards.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
