Job summary

Tomlinson Group of Companies seeks a Service Coordinator to manage inventory and maintenance tasks from our Ottawa warehouse. The role runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-site responsibilities for shop and yard assets.

You will log maintenance work, coordinate field repairs, and ensure timely inspections while collaborating with clerks and field personnel to maximize equipment availability.

Qualifications

• Intermediate to advanced computer skills with SAP, Power Apps, SALUS, Outlook, Excel.
• 2–3 years of rental or construction experience.
• Knowledge of construction equipment and being mechanically inclined.

Responsibilities

• Monitor shop parts inventory and maintain adequate stock levels.
• Log and bill time and materials on work orders using SAP.
• Coordinate maintenance of shop and yard equipment.
• Track equipment hours for preventive maintenance.
• Book preventative maintenance and develop inspection checklists.
• Coordinate safety inspections of lifts and road equipment.
