Job summary

Hard Rock Ottawa Hotel & Casino is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Attendant to receive, inspect, verify and store goods for casino operations in Ottawa, Ontario. The role supports inventory accuracy and timely distribution to departments such as food & beverage, housekeeping, and gaming.

You will follow SOPs, maintain orderly storerooms, handle inbound mail, and operate pallet jacks while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. A high school diploma and gaming license are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least nineteen (19) years of age.
• Must obtain/maintain a Gaming/Lottery license.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing 50 pounds plus.
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.
• Able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks on concrete floors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct receiving orders and packages in a timely manner following Warehouse SOPs.
• Stock inbound storeroom orders, date items, and rotate stock promptly.
• Pull storeroom requisitions, have them checked by Warehouse Leadership, and update before delivery.
• Process inbound mail (Amazon, DHL, FedEx, UPS) and route to correct departments.
• Maintain warehouse locations and communicate moves to leadership or inventory clerks.
• Assist in daily warehouse operations and receiving activities.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance in warehouse areas.
