Job summary

Wonderbrands Distribution Centre in Etobicoke is seeking a dependable team member to safely offload bread, operate the waste compactor, and keep the warehouse clean and organized.

Ideal candidates communicate clearly in English, demonstrate safety and reliability, and can lift up to 50 lbs. The position runs Sun, Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri from 9:00am to 5:30pm with a pay rate of $18.60/hr.

Qualifications

• Previous working in a warehouse receiving department is an asset experience
• You have strong people skills—you’re approachable, a good listener, and empathetic
• Work in a safe and conscientious manner
• You’re dedicated to the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction.
• Possess some degree of mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work in an efficient but safe manner.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong numeracy skills.
• Ability to think, troubleshoot and react to situations.
• Strong multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent attendance record.

• Operate and monitor the compactor for proper waste management
