Job summary

Wonderbrands is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Longueuil to join the shipping team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality of orders. You will operate a stand‑up and/or counterbalanced forklift and move bread stacks from the shipping area to trailers, maintaining an organized shipping floor.

Experience in a warehouse, forklift certification, and ability to lift up to 30 lbs are required. Flexibility for varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, is essential.

• Knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift (stand-up/counterbalanced) and move bread stacks to trailers.
• Move stacks of bread from shipping area to trailers using handcart and forklift.
• Organize the shipping floor, sort orders and fill trailers in order.
• Complete daily paperwork and forklift inspections; perform food safety checks.
• Support weekend and holiday shifts and adapt to business needs.

Overview

The Warehouse Associate will work on the shipping team to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of customer orders.

SALARY: Starting at $22.88/hr. + bonuses

START DATE: as soon as possible

Responsibilities

• Work in the warehouse directly in relation to the production department, using a stand‑up and/or counterbalanced forklift and a walk‑behind pallet truck.
• Move stacks of bread from the shipping area to trailers using a handcart/trolley and forklift.
• Move empty stacks of bread trays from trailer to factory using hand truck/cart and forklift.
• Organize the shipping floor and aisles, sort orders and fill the trailer in the correct order.
• Complete all paperwork, including daily forklift inspection and performing food safety checks on the trailer.
• Available for various shifts throughout the week, including flexibility to work weekends (Saturday AND Sunday) and holidays as needed.
• Additional responsibilities may be added to better meet business needs.

Requirements

• Have previous experience in a shipping/distribution environment (Preferably in the food industry!).
• Experience and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Be autonomous and dynamic through opportunities to learn and grow, and be the master of your own career.
• Forklift license/certification required.
• Knowledge of OUTLOOK systems is an asset.
• Knowledge of SAP or any other WMS an asset.
• Have a very good understanding of warehouse shipping/receiving procedures and equipment.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs. And be comfortable performing repetitive movements and tasks, including bending, lifting, and squatting.
