Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support stock processing, order picking, and inventory management. You will ensure accurate shipping documents, maintain inventory controls, and uphold sanitation and safety standards across freezer, cooler, and dry environments.

The role requires forklift certification as an asset, computer proficiency, and strong customer service with excellent communication. Join a team focused on safety and service quality.

Qualifications

  • Forklift certification is an asset.
  • Must have computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent customer service and strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule distribution of goods; prepare bills of lading, invoices & other shipping documents
  • Perform manual & computerized inventory control
  • Maintain internal record keeping system, record shortages & reject damaged goods
  • Route goods to appropriate storage areas, pack goods to be shipped, unpack goods received
  • Oversee loading & unloading of goods
  • Drive a motorized single pallet to be packaged and shipped
  • Comply with health & safety standards and regulations
  • Help to maintain sanitation and food quality standards
  • Clean up at end of shift (boxes, cardboard, paper)
  • Pick and pack products in freezer, cooler, and dry environments
  • Perform other warehouse functions as assigned by Supervisor

How You Will Make An Impact

You will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock and managing inventory within the warehouse.

As a Warehouse Associate, You Will
  • Schedule distribution of goods; prepare bills of lading, invoices & other shipping documents
  • Perform manual & computerized inventory control
  • Maintain internal record keeping system, record shortages & reject damaged goods
  • Route goods to appropriate storage areas, pack goods to be shipped, unpack goods received
  • Oversee loading & unloading of goods
  • Drive a motorized single pallet to be packaged and shipped
  • Integrate well into a culture where Health & Safety is a priority, by complying with safety standards and regulations.
  • Help to maintain sanitation and food quality standards.
  • Clean up at end of shift (boxes, cardboard, paper)
  • Pick and pack products in freezer, cooler, and dry environments
  • Perform other warehouse functions as assigned by Supervisor
About You
  • Forklift Operator Certification is an asset
  • Must have computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Excellent customer service
