Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Ontario to support stock receiving, order picking, and inventory management. You will execute distribution plans, maintain accurate records, and assist with loading and unloading operations.

The role requires forklift certification, a valid driver’s license, computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

  • Forklift certification and training to operate material handling equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license for vehicle movement and deliveries if required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service and reliability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication for accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule distribution of goods and prepare shipping documents.
  • Perform manual and computerized inventory control and cycle counting.
  • Maintain internal records, track shortages, and report damaged goods.
  • Route goods to storage, pack for shipping, and unpack received items.
  • Oversee loading and unloading of goods and ensure safety procedures.

As a Warehouse Associate, You Will
  • Schedule distribution of goods; prepare bills of lading, invoices & other shipping documents
  • Perform manual & computerized inventory control
  • Maintain internal record keeping system, record shortages & reject damaged goods
  • Route goods to appropriate storage areas, pack goods to be shipped, unpack goods received
  • Oversee loading & unloading of goods
About You
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must have computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Excellent customer service
  • Strong written and verbal communication
