Job summary

Summit Search Group partners with an established equipment and parts supplier to recruit a Warehouse & Parts Specialist for its Sherwood Park operation. This on-site role combines warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory management, and customer parts support to help build a developing warehouse.

The successful candidate will be organized, self‑motivated, and ready to take ownership of day-to-day activities, expanding parts knowledge with support from an experienced team;

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or parts experience.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs with appropriate equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and prioritization.
• Customer inquiries via phone/email; provide quotes and orders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping and receiving, including unloading, verifying, staging and preparing customer orders.
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move and store large equipment parts.
• Help establish and maintain an efficient layout for the warehouse and outdoor storage areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct inventory counts and keep stock organized.
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email, identify required parts, prepare quotations and process orders.
• Source parts from manufacturers, create purchase orders and follow up on backorders.
• Prepare shipping and billing documentation and support returns, credits, warranty claims and core processing.
• Coordinate with the national parts team and provide scheduled afternoon coverage for the customer service phone line.
• Assist with additional parts duties, including hydraulic hose assembly, as required.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.

Summit Search Group is partnering with an established equipment and parts supplier to recruit a Warehouse & Parts Specialist for its growing operation in Sherwood Park.

This hands-on position combines warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory management, and customer parts support. This is an opportunity for an organized, self-motivated individual to help establish a developing warehouse operation, take ownership of its day-to-day organization, and build their parts knowledge with support from an experienced team.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory management or parts.
• Forklift certification and practical experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Ability to safely lift and move items weighing up to approximately 65 lbs, using appropriate equipment for heavier components.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing competing priorities.
• Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach to handling inquiries and recommending solutions.
• Confidence using Microsoft applications and computerized systems. Experience with inventory, ERP or parts systems is an asset.
• Experience with heavy equipment, industrial, truck or crushing equipment parts is an asset.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate with colleagues and adapt as the operation develops.

This position is based on-site in Sherwood Park. Flexibility for occasional evening, weekend and on-call support is required. The successful candidate will receive training and support from an experienced parts team, have input into the organization of a developing warehouse, and have the opportunity to grow into broader parts and logistics responsibilities.
