Job summary

Metro Supply Chain Group in Delta, BC, is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support pick/pack/shipping, operate common warehouse equipment, and maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate material‑handling equipment and support order fulfillment.
• Perform picking, packing, shipping and receiving.
• Conduct cycle counts and stock put‑away; replenish locations.
• Follow SOPs and maintain productivity.
• Maintain a safe, clean work site and report hazards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate material‑handling equipment such as an order picker (walkie), reach truck, dockstocker, counterbalance, and double walkie
• Perform general warehouse functions including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving
• Handle inbound loads, perform cycle counts, complete product put‑away, and replenish stock locations
• Follow activity‑and‑account‑specific Standard Operating Procedures while maintaining acceptable productivity levels
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Complete other site‑specific responsibilities as required

What We’re Looking For

• Have previous warehouse experience
• Hold a valid forklift operator’s license (an asset)
• Are comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs consistently, performing repetitive motions, and standing/walking for extended periods
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and work well in a team environment
• Prioritize safety in all aspects of their work

Schedule

• Morning shift (6am - 2pm)

Compensation

• Base rate: $20.50 per hour

Total hourly rate:

$22.00 per hour ( includes all applicable hourly shift premiums)
