Job summary

Univar Solutions Canada LTD in Calgary is seeking a Warehouse Operator. The role reports to the Site Supervisor and performs warehouse duties including material handling of some hazardous products and forklift-assisted order picking for shipping.

You will monitor inventory, assist with loading/unloading, and prepare customer orders with blending/packaging. On-site work at 4220 78th Ave. SE, Calgary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent working experience.
• Strong organizational, mathematical, computer and clerical skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work within company policy where experience and independent judgement is demonstrated.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Material handling of some hazardous products.
• Monitor inventory levels of Company products.
• Pick orders and prepare them for shipping using a forklift to place products on skids and wrap skids, then load the skids onto trucks.
• Assist with off-loading trucks and putting away product.
• Bulk liquid transfer from rail to tank or truck.
• Prepare product orders for customers including custom blending and packaging.
• Clean and maintain the warehouse and equipment.
• Some outdoor work required in various weather conditions.
