Qualifications

  • Ability to work 12-hour continental shifts (days/nights, including weekends and holidays).
  • Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a clamp truck to move, load, and stage paper rolls and other materials safely and efficiently.
  • Load finished paper products onto trucks, railcars, and intermodal following securement standards and safety procedures.
  • Conduct visual inspections of products and equipment before and after use.
  • Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
  • Communicate effectively with production, logistics, warehouse colleagues, and truckers to meet daily schedules.
  • Complete shipping documentation and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Participate in ongoing safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and required.

Description

ANC Transloading Inc. (ANCTI) is a diverse and agile organization providing transportation offloading via rail and truck, site services management, heavy equipment operation, and warehouse solutions both externally and internally on the Alberta Newsprint Company (ANC) mill site. ANCTI is wholly-owned by ANC. Located in Whitecourt, and operating with a non-unionized workforce, ANC’s paper mill—the first in Alberta—produces paper of such high quality that it has become the standard by which other paper products manufactured in North America are measured. ANCTI is currently recruiting for the role of Warehouse Operator. Reporting to the Lead Warehouse Operator and working on a crew, this position plays a key role in the safe and efficient movement of finished paper rolls using a clamp truck in a 24/7 production environment.

Warehouse Operators are responsible for loading and securing finished products for shipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring continuous support for production operations, amongst other duties.

Hiring for at least 2 positions.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
