Job summary

Ryerson Canada is seeking a Material Handler at our Edmonton, AB branch located at 7945 Coronet Rd NW. This role handles day-to-day staging, packing, and picking material for shipments, using proper equipment.

Hours are Monday through Friday from 3:30pm - 12:00am, with alternating shifts as needed. You will work with feedstock, break down bulk bundles, package to customer specs, and operate a forklift or overhead crane.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of similar job experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience preferred.
• Basic math and measuring skills preferred.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Picking and staging feedstock for fulfillment orders.
• Breaking down bulk bundles for customer-specific orders.
• Packaging material to customer requirements.
• Operating a forklift or overhead crane to move material as needed.
• Proper completion of paperwork and SAP work order confirmation for shipping/receiving on the computer.
• Maximum productivity for finished goods creation.
• All other duties as assigned.
