Job summary

Farm Boy is seeking a capable Warehouse Operations Leader to oversee receiving, storage, and distribution. You will work with the Warehouse Operations Manager to drive efficient processes, uphold safety and quality standards, and coach a team of warehouse staff to perform at a high level.

You will lead daily operations, coordinate with internal teams, and contribute to cost control and continuous improvement while maintaining strong customer service and compliance with health and safety

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a related field with 3 years of management experience in logistics, warehouse, or distribution.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, procedures, systems, inventory management, and quality control practices.
• Proficiency with warehouse Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills with the ability to build an engaged team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations with safe, efficient handling, storage, and distribution to stores and production facilities.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse team members, fostering engagement and accountability.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Operations Manager to set goals, monitor performance, and identify process improvements.
• Coordinate with Transportation, Store, and internal teams to resolve supply-related issues.
• Ensure facilities and equipment are maintained and safe.
• Monitor inventory, product quality, and loss prevention; address issues promptly.
• Support HR on hiring, training, and employee recognition.
