Ashley Canada is seeking a part-time Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store) for our Whitby store at 1650 Victoria St E. The role focuses on supporting visual presentation, warehousing tasks, and customer service in-store.

Applicants should be able to work retail hours, be physically able to lift up to 100 lbs, and have familiarity with MS Office and in-house inventory systems. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 6 months to 1-year related experience an asset
• Ability to work during retail hours (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
• Experience with MS Office products and ability to learn in-house inventory management system
• Physically fit, able to lift and move objects up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and accurate support related to visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pickups, movement of goods & merchandising
• Be responsible for store maintenance - including the exterior of the building
• Receive product and prepare outbound shipments
• Prepare product for floor placement or delivery
• Maintain and provide accurate inventory documentation
• Load and unload freight trailers

Ashley Canada is currently seeking a Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store) for our Whitby store located at 1650 Victoria St E.

This position is being posted to fill an immediate staffing need within the department. We are actively seeking qualified candidates who can step into the role and contribute to the team as soon as possible.

As a Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store) you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of visual presentation for our home furnishing products in our stores.
