Ashley Canada – The Dufresne Group in Winnipeg East (1580 Regent Ave W) is hiring a Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store). You will assist in visual presentation, warehousing, and in-store merchandising to support our home furnishings.

We seek guest-focused, goal-oriented individuals who can lift up to 100 lbs, work retail hours, and use MS Office with our inventory system. Prior retail or warehouse experience is an asset. Full-time, on-site role with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1-year related experience an asset.
• Ability to work during retail hours (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• Physically fit, able to lift and move objects up to 100 lbs.
• Experience with MS Office products and ability to learn in-house inventory management system.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and accurate support related to visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pickups, movement of goods & merchandising
• Be responsible for store maintenance - including the exterior of the building
• Receive product and prepare outbound shipments
• Prepare product for floor placement or delivery
• Maintain and provide accurate inventory documentation
• Load and unload freight trailers
• Keep the warehouse area organized and clean

Ashley Canada is currently seeking Warehouse Merchandise Handlers (In Store) for our Winnipeg East store located at 1580 Regent Ave W.

As a Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store) you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of visual presentation for our home furnishing products in our stores.
