Job summary

Ashley Canada is seeking a Casual Part-Time (up to 8 hours/week) In-Store Warehouse Merchandise Handler for our Penticton store at 3039 Skaha Lake Road. You will assist visual presentation, handle warehousing tasks, and support stock movement to ensure an appealing storefront and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities include inventory accuracy, outbound shipments, and maintaining a clean warehouse area. Candidates should be able to work retail hours and lift up to 100 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work during retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to perform physical tasks and lift/move items as needed.
• Familiarity with in-store inventory processes is preferred.
• Experience with MS Office or similar software is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient support related to visual presentation and merchandising in-store.
• Assist in warehouse duties and stock movement to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Receive product and prepare outbound shipments for store delivery or pickup.
• Prepare products for floor placement and delivery to customers.
• Maintain and document inventory accurately.
• Load and unload freight trailers and keep the warehouse clean and organized.

As aWarehouse Merchandise Handler (In-Store)you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of visual presentation for our home furnishing products in our stores.

As a Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store), you will:

• Provide efficient and accurate support related to visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pickups, movement of goods & merchandising
• Be responsible for store maintenance - including the exterior of the building
• Receive product and prepare outbound shipments
• Prepare product for floor placement or delivery
• Maintain and provide accurate inventory documentation
• Load and unload freight trailers
• Keep the warehouse area organized and clean

As a successful candidate you will have the following:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 6 months to 1-year related experience an asset
• Ability to work during retail hours (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
• Experience with MS Office products and ability to learn in-house inventory management system
• Physically fit, able to lift and move objects up to 100 lbs.
