Job summary

The Dufresne Group's Ashley Canada team in Winnipeg West is seeking a Full-Time Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store) to support visual presentation, warehousing and customer service for home furnishings.

You will receive product, prep outbound shipments, maintain inventory records and ensure the store environment is clean and organized, lifting up to 100 lbs and working retail hours including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1-year related experience an asset.
• Ability to work during retail hours (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• Experience with MS Office products and ability to learn in-house inventory management system.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and accurate support related to visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pickups, movement of goods & merchandising.
• Be responsible for store maintenance - including the exterior of the building.
• Receive product and prepare outbound shipments.
• Prepare product for floor placement or delivery.
• Maintain and provide accurate inventory documentation.
• Load and unload freight trailers.
• Keep the warehouse area organized and clean.

As a Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store) you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of visual presentation for our home furnishing products in our stores.
