Job summary

Ashley Canada is seeking a Full-Time Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store) for our Heartland store at 5900 Mavis Rd in Mississauga. You will support visual presentation, warehousing and inventory, with duties including receiving, stocking, and keeping the warehouse clean.

Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and work retail hours. We offer wages of $18–$20 per hour, benefits, education assistance, retirement plan and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months warehousing or retail experience is preferred.
• Able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and accurate support related to visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pickups, movement of goods & merchandising
• Be responsible for store maintenance - including the exterior of the building
• Receive product and prepare outbound shipments
• Prepare product for floor placement or delivery
• Maintain and provide accurate inventory documentation
• Load and unload freight trailers
• Keep the warehouse area organized and clean

Ashley Canada is currently seeking a Full-Time Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store) for our Heartland store located at 5900 Mavis Rd.

This position is being posted to fill an immediate staffing need within the department. We are actively seeking qualified candidates who can step into the role and contribute to the team as soon as possible.

As a Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store) you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of visual presentation for our home furnishing products in our stores.

• Experience with MS Office products and ability to learn in-house inventory management system
• Physically fit, able to lift and move objects up to 100 lbs.
