Description

You are a Warehouse Material Handler responsible for the daily flow of materials, including accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory control. You ensure the Warehouse is a safe and clean environment and assist with maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and fleet vehicles.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Verify incoming and outgoing materials.
  2. Support shipping and receiving activities; assist technicians with loading materials.
  3. Operate forklifts and lift heavy items (up to 40 lbs.).
  4. Assist in warehouse safety, cleaning, organizing, and waste disposal.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with field technicians; ensure the needs of the warehousing staff are met.
  6. Manage inventory control and order selection.
  7. Use industry practices and inventory tracking systems to record and manage inbound and outbound stock.
  8. Participate in auditing processes, including process compliance, asset protection, security, quality control, and labor utilization.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of industry experience, preferably in a high-volume warehouse environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with JD Edwards and database software is a plus.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol screening and security clearance.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly in handling inventory transactions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing demands.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across organizational levels.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Forklift Operator Certification is an asset.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position.
  • Physically capable of sitting, standing, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Applicants residing in Calgary will be prioritized due to project location.
