Job summary

Stream-Flo Industries in Edmonton is seeking a warehouse associate to support material handling, order pulling, and shipping duties. You will work alongside a team to ensure accurate, timely processing of materials and shipments.

You will operate forklifts, verify lot numbers, and maintain records while following safety and quality procedures. The role requires a collaborative mindset and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Internal forklift and crane experience.
• Familiar with ERP systems such as SAP.

Responsibilities

• Pull all material required for work orders and place into proper locations per schedule priority and instruction.
• Unload, sort, inspect and put away incoming material as per receiving instructions.
• Ensure processes, lifting devices and forklift operations comply with safety regulations.
• Check material picked against work orders before release.
• Record required information by pick list or RF gun including lot/serial numbers and quantities.
• Ensure timely flow of paperwork for pick lists, purchase orders and packing slips.
• Notify Purchasing and Manufacturing of material shortages or delays.
• Perform uncrating for overseas shipments.
• Maintain and label goods; keep areas clean and orderly.
• Assist with loading and unloading of trucks, trailers and shipping containers.

Key Position Functions Include

• Ensure compliance with Stream Flo Group Guiding Principles in terms of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental regulations or policies.
• Pull all material required for work orders and place into proper locations per schedule priority and / or instruction.
• Unload, sort, inspect and put away incoming material as per receiving instructions.
• Ensure processes, lifting devices and forklift operations are performed in accordance with safety regulations and are carried out in a conscientious manner.
• Check to ensure material picked work orders is correct before being released.
• Record required information by pick list or RF gun which may include lot numbers, serial numbers, heat numbers, quantities, etc.
• Ensure proper and timely flow of paperwork for pick lists, purchase orders, packing slips, etc.
• Advise Purchasing and Manufacturing of material shortages or delivery delays.
• Perform uncrating duties for overseas shipments.
• Maintain, organize, and label goods, while keeping areas clean and orderly
• Ensure compliance with all applicable standards / procedures, which many include:
• API – American Petroleum Institute
• ES – Engineering Specifications
• ISO – International Standards Organization
• JHA – Job Hazard Analysis
• QAM – Quality Assurance Manual
• QCP – Quality Control Procedures

• Assist with loading and unloading of trucks, trailers, and shipping containers

Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following qualifications:

• 1-2 years of previous related experience is preferred.
• Self-motivated, able to prioritize and possess strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
