Job summary

Schulte Industries is seeking a forklift operator to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment within a manufacturing setting in Canada. You will move materials, assist with cycle counts, and help maintain accurate inventory while adhering to safety protocols.

The role offers a day shift in a non-climate-controlled plant with occasional heavy lifting. Willingness to relocate to Englefeld/Humboldt area and availability for on-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to perform inventory tasks and cycle counts.
• Willingness to work indoors/outdoors in a manufacturing setting.
• Must relocate to Englefeld/Humboldt area.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other power mobile equipment safely.
• Move materials using equipment or by hand when needed.
• Report material damage, waste, and non-conforming products to Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintain proper inventory practices to optimize space utilization.
• Assist with cycle counting as required by management.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory housing duties as directed.
• Unload inbound trucks and receive Schulte production materials.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions of the Job

• Responsible for safe forklift and power mobile equipment operation
• Moving materials with equipment like forklifts or cranes or by hand when applicable
• Report material damage or waste and any non-conforming product to Warehouse Supervisor
• Proper inventory practices to promote utilization of space
• Assist with cycle counting as required by management
• Housekeeping and inventory housing responsibilities as directed by supervisor
• Unload inbound trucks and physically receive Inbound Schulte products that are designated for Schulte production and other areas of the plant
• Other duties as assigned
