Job summary

UMC, Inc in Regina is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee inventory, organize deliveries, and maintain a safe, efficient operation. You will coordinate deliveries, manage logs, and ensure accurate stock levels while supporting our values and customer service goals.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years forklift experience, a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background and drug screening. CDL is a plus; teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

  • Highschool diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must have dependable transportation, pass background check, physical and drug screening, and be authorized to work in the USA.
  • CDL is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years forklift experience required. Certification training provided for expired or no certification.
  • Experience securing equipment on trailers; attention to detail and inventory quality.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment; good communication skills.
  • Familiarity with plumbing/HVAC parts is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location.
  • Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the shop.
  • Process inventory for delivery.
  • Receive freight and material deliveries and report damaged or missing inventory.
  • Move materials, tools, and equipment to and from UMC warehouse, jobsites, and supply houses.
  • Track and audit company tool assets.
  • Always treats others with respect and aligns with UMC's Vision, Mission, and Core Values.
  • Follow health and safety procedures.

Warehouse Manager Pay Range:

Hourly Pay: $25 - $30 / hourdepending on experience

Warehouse Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location
  • Maintains overall cleanliness and organization of the shop
  • Process inventory for delivery.
  • Receive freight and material deliveries and ensure quality. Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
  • Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and delivery to proper locations
  • Update logs and documentation for inventory processing.
  • Move materials, tools, and equipment to and from UMC warehouse, jobsites, and supply houses
  • Prepare, sort, and kit materials for delivery as needed
  • Track and audit company tool assets.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

Warehouse Manager Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Have Highschool diploma/ GED or Equivalent
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have dependable transportation, able to pass a background check, physical and drug screening, and be authorized to work in the USA
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR). CDL is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years of prior forklift experience required. Current forklift certification is a plus; certification training will be provided for candidates with expired or no prior certification.
  • Experience with properly securing equipment and materials on trailers is required
  • Pays attention to detail and monitors the quality and organization of inventory
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to take direction well.
  • Familiarity with plumbing and or HVAC parts and terminology is a plus
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory software, and able to upload data into the company system (will train).
  • Able to work independently.

  • Possess good organizational, interpersonal, initiative andproblem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to use hands and fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk; hear; sit; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; climb or balance; stand; walk; lift or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally team lift or move up to 100 pounds; work overhead and in cramped quarters.
  • Must follow all health and safety procedures and regulations as dictated by UMC, Inc.

While performing this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. Occasionally exposure to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites occurs. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The performance of work happens in outside weather conditions. Mitigate these hazards or stop work until conditions improve when applicable. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without accommodation.
