Job summary

EMCO Corporation is seeking a warehouse associate in Kamloops to pick, pack, and ship orders, and to support inventory management on a daily basis.

You will work safely with a team, learn product applications, and assist account managers by handling orders and coordinating deliveries. Growth opportunities exist across EMCO’s Canadian network.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving or distribution preferred.
• Construction, industrial, mining, or trades experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing customer orders, receiving and inspecting shipments.
• Loading/unloading materials and organizing inventory.
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards, supporting counts.
• Preparing products for pickup/delivery and operating warehouse equipment safely.
• Assist sales by entering orders, preparing quotations, and tracking deliveries.
• Learn product applications and work with Account Managers to support customers.

Job Description

You’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive the products they need safely, accurately, and on time

Responsibilities include:

• Picking and preparing customer orders
• Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments
• Loading and unloading materials
• Organizing inventory and replenishing stock
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards
• Assisting with inventory counts and cycle counts
• Preparing products for customer pickup and delivery
• Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Supporting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety

As your knowledge and confidence grow, you’ll begin working more directly with customers and supporting our sales team by:

• Assisting customers in person, over the phone, and by email
• Entering orders, preparing quotations, and tracking deliveries
• Helping customers find solutions to their industrial supply needs
• Learning product applications and industry best practices
• Working alongside experienced Account Managers and Inside Sales professionals
• Building the foundation for future career opportunities in industrial sales and account management
