Meyer Distributing in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead a fast-paced operation with a focus on organization, safety, and team performance. This full-time role requires coaching staff, overseeing receiving, shipping, inventory, and drivers, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining a positive work environment.

You will manage productivity, quality, and safety standards, coordinate counts, operate forklifts, and support staffing and performance management

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong safety focus and procedure adherence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work at heights.
• Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 90 days of hire.
• Required to wear protective PPE at all times.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse employees and team leads.
• Oversee daily receiving, shipping, inventory, warehousing operations and drivers.
• Foster a strong safety culture and ensure PPE compliance.
• Manage warehouse productivity, quality, and operational performance.
• Coordinate inventory counts and maintain accuracy.
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and other powered equipment.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and efficiency.
• Address operational challenges and drive continuous improvement.
• Support staffing, attendance, and performance management.
• All other duties as assigned.

Lead the Way as a Warehouse Manager!

Ready to take charge of a fast-paced warehouse operation and lead a team to success? We're looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager who thrives on organization, teamwork, safety, and operational excellence. Pay and Schedule:

• $80,000.00 CAD annually
• Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm (shift varies on operational needs, coverage)
• Full-time position with regular working hours

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse employees, and team leads
• Oversee daily receiving, shipping, inventory, warehousing operations and drivers
• Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety standards and PPE requirements
• Manage warehouse productivity, quality, and operational performance
• Coordinate inventory counts and maintains inventory accuracy
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and other powered industrial equipment
• Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and efficiency
• Address operational challenges proactively and drive continuous improvement
• Support staffing, attendance tracking, and employee performance management
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Strong attention to safety and the ability to follow established procedures
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, humidity, and noise levels
• Ability to work at heights of up to 25 feet above ground level
• Must be comfortable working at heights and operating forklifts and manlifts (cherry pickers)
• Previous forklift and/or manlift operating experience preferred
• Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 90 days of hire
• Required to wear protective-toe footwear and appropriate PPE at all times
