Position Overview

Just Like Hero is seeking a hands‑on, organized, and accountable Warehouse Manager to take ownership of our warehouse operation and lead our next phase of growth.

This role will oversee daily operations and staff performance while driving improvements in productivity, accuracy, inventory management, and warehouse processes. A key responsibility will be working with senior management to develop practical KPIs and a performance‑based incentive system.

The ideal candidate combines strong floor leadership with operational planning, people management, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1) Warehouse Operations & Operation Planning

• Oversee daily warehouse operations across multiple shifts, including picking, packing, replenishment, receiving, shipping, and container receiving
• Plan staffing, workload, and warehouse capacity based on operational needs
• Lead and support the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure consistent operations across shifts
• Monitor productivity, accuracy, and safety, resolve operational issues, and provide hands‑on floor support when required

2) Staff Development, Performance Management

• Lead hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management of warehouse staff
• Work with senior management to develop and track warehouse KPIs and a performance‑based incentive system
• Conduct performance reviews and manage attendance, conduct, discipline, and termination when necessary

3) Inventory Management

• Oversee inventory accuracy, receiving, replenishment, cycle counts, and stock movements
• Plan inventory transfers between warehouse locations and external storage based on stock levels, demand, and space requirements
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and improve inventory organization and space utilization

4) Process Improvement & SOP Development

• Identify and implement improvements to warehouse productivity, accuracy, workflow, and labour efficiency
• Develop and maintain SOPs and use operational data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
• Support warehouse expansion and prepare processes for future growth

5) Vendor Management, Equipment Maintenance & Safety

• Source and manage vendors and purchasing for warehouse supplies, equipment, maintenance, and services
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and servicing for warehouse equipment and company vehicles
• Maintain service records and ensure the warehouse equipments and company vehicles remain safe and operational

What We’re Looking For

Must‑Have

• 5+ years of warehouse operations experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
• Proven experience leading, training, and managing the performance of warehouse staff
• Experience using warehouse KPIs or performance metrics to monitor productivity and performance
• Reach‑truck operating experience with a strong understanding of warehouse safety
• Hands‑on leadership style with strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills

Nice‑to‑Have

• Experience with WMS and e-commerce fulfillment systems
• Experience developing warehouse KPIs, SOPs, or performance‑based incentive programs
• Multi‑location inventory or multi‑shift warehouse management experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $75,000–$85,000 per year, based on experience
