Canadian Tire Hillside is seeking a Warehouse/Logistics Associate to join our busy Victoria store. You will help receive, verify, store, and transport products to the sales floor, maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. Role Description

The Warehouse Associate has a key role in ensuring that products are received, verified, stored, and transported to the sales floor or in the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner. Associates are also responsible for keeping the warehouse neat, tidy, and well maintained. This position is very physical and includes a lot of lifting and carrying, as well as a high level of comfort with technology and processing systems.

Starting wage range: $19.00 - $20.00.

Responsibilities & Tasks

• Maintaining a clean & tidy warehouse.
• Responding to and handling customer and staff inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely manner.
• Perform customer carry outs of heavy/bulky product.
• Receives, scans, verifies, and stores all incoming and overstock products according to established procedures and policies.
• Prepares merchandise for filing, sorts and fills merchandise carts for the retail floor.
• Picks all warehouse product through our Proactive System to fill retail floor.
• 100% accuracy in following procedures for locating and de-locating products in the warehouse.
• Responsible for garbage disposal, cardboard recycling, and the disposal of broken products in accordance with store policy.
• Responsible for the safe operation of all warehouse equipment (forklift, skyjack, wave machine etc.).
• Abides by all health and safety programs and regulations.
