Job summary

Canadian Tire in Ontario is seeking a Warehouse Associate to help receive, verify, store, and transport merchandise to the sales floor in a safe and efficient manner.

You will join a friendly team, receive hands-on training, and contribute to inventory control and order fulfillment while maintaining a positive, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Able to lift and move merchandise, stand for long periods; may involve climbing ladders.
• Able to work shifts (days, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Strong computer skills for inventory systems and scanning.
• Ability to think quickly to solve problems and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, scan, verify and store incoming products.
• Store overstock and manage inventory accuracy.
• Ship returns, process damaged claims and complete paperwork.
• Dispose garbage and cardboard and maintain a clean workspace.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow health and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Receive, scan, verify and store all incoming products.
• Store overstock.

• Ensure inventory accuracy.

• Operate all warehouse equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Requirements / Skills

• No experience is required!!! - We will provide all the training you need!
• Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning and reaching
• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week-ends and holidays)
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make decisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask
• Certification in forklift and/or skyjack (scissor lift) (asset)
