Job summary

Canadian Tire Windsor is seeking a Warehouse Associate to ensure products are received, verified, stored and transported safely to the sales floor or within the warehouse. You will handle merchandise varying in weight across shifts and join an amazingly friendly team.

No prior experience is required as on-the-job training is provided. The role offers flexible hours, employee discounts, group benefits, and opportunities for scholarship support within a diverse, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• No experience is required!!! – We will provide all the training you need!
• Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items.
• Certification in forklift and/or skyjack is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive, scan, verify and store all incoming products.
• Store overstock.
• Ship returns, process damaged claims and complete paperwork.
• Ensure inventory accuracy.
• Dispose garbage and cardboard.
• Operate all warehouse equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week-ends and holidays)
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make decisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask
• Certification in forklift and/or skyjack (scissor lift) (asset)
