Aerotek is hiring a Warehouse Worker for an onsite contract role in Johnstown, ON. The job focuses on light packing on the loading dock, building pallets, and ensuring accurate SKU handling throughout an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stacking items on pallets, wrapping pallets, and maintaining quality control while working in a fast-paced distribution center. Candidates must lift up to 50 lbs, maintain attendance, and follow safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of warehouse/general labor experience within the last 1.5 years.
• Proven ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs consistently over an 8-hour shift, validated by a reference.
• Excellent attendance record, validated by managerial references from the two most recent jobs.
• Strong attention to detail distinguishing products with different SKUs.
• Experience with loading/unloading, shipping/receiving, and general labor tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution center environment and maintain productivity.
• Reliable, positive attitude and willingness to perform manual tasks all day.

Responsibilities

• Work on light packing loading dock, building pallets according to size/height requirements.
• Unload product from incoming trucks and stack onto pallets throughout the day.
• Wrap completed pallets with shrink wrap or paper before forklift handling.
• Handle inventory carefully, placing items on correct pallets based on SKU numbers.
• Perform quality checks to avoid mixing products with different SKUs.
