Crossroads C&I Distributors Inc. in Saint John, NB is hiring a Warehouse Specialist to load, unload, receive, store and distribute inventory. The role requires safe operation of a forklift or pallet jack and accurate cycle counting of stock.

Applicants should have warehouse experience, comfort with basic math, and the ability to stand for long periods. Forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory in this safety-sensitive position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for Company purposes, a valid driver’s license will be required.
• Ability to use a handheld scanning unit.
• Compute basic math problems.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, receive, store and distribute inventory safely.
• Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Cycle count inventory and inspect stock for wear or defects.
• Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage.
• Stand during tasks and perform duties as assigned.

Your Responsibilities

Currently hiring in Saint John, NB a Warehouse Specialist to load, unload, receive, store and distribute inventory. Our Warehouse team members play a vital role in the daily operations of our facility.

• If you are a reliable team player with a desire to work safely in a fast-paced environment, then we want you to
• Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Cycle count inventory, storing in orderly and accessible manner, while inspecting stock items for wear or defects and reporting to supervision.
• Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage and breakage.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting 50 lbs. during physical loading/unloading of trucks.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours to perform job related tasks.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

Physical Requirements This role requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength. The position involves lifting up to 23 kg, depending on the specific job duties.
