Job summary

Lordco Auto Parts in Kelowna, BC, seeks a Putaway Lead to manage daily warehouse operations, lead a team, and optimize putaway and returns processes.

You will coordinate schedules, conduct safety checks, and monitor productivity and accuracy while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the distribution center.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Experience in order picking / fulfillment
• Inventory / put away and returns processing
• Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse systems

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse activities including order picking, put away, or returns processing.
• Monitor team performance (productivity, accuracy, workflow).
• Conduct floor walks, quality checks, and audits.
• Supervise, coach, and support a team of warehouse associates.
• Train new hires and support ongoing development.
• Lead daily huddles to review priorities, goals, and updates.
• Coordinate workflow to ensure smooth movement of product through the facility.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse.
• Enforce WorkSafe and company safety policies.
• Track and report key metrics such as productivity, accuracy, and operational performance.
• Communicate updates, challenges, and wins to leadership.

Position: Putaway Lead

Location: Kelowna, BC

We are hiring multiple Warehouse Leads to support key functions within our distribution center, including Putaway, and Returns.

As an Warehouse Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team, driving productivity and accuracy, and ensuring daily operations run efficiently. Based on your experience and strengths, you will be placed in the area that best aligns with your skillset.

What You’ll Do:

Depending on your assigned area, you will:

• Lead daily warehouse activities including order picking, put away, or returns processing
• Ensure:
  • Orders are picked accurately and on time
  • Inventory is stored efficiently within target timelines
  • Returns are processed and completed
• Monitor team performance (productivity, accuracy, workflow)
• Conduct floor walks, quality checks, and audits
• Supervise, coach, and support a team of warehouse associates
• Train new hires and support ongoing development
• Lead daily huddles to review priorities, goals, and updates
• Manage schedules, breaks, and staffing needs
• Coordinate workflow to ensure smooth movement of product through the facility
• Help balance labour across departments during peak periods
• Support standardized processes and training documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Resolve discrepancies, damages, or non-scannable items
• Maintain clean separation and organization of inventory and returns
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse
• Enforce WorkSafe and company safety policies
• Participate in safety programs and initiatives
• Track and report key metrics such as productivity, accuracy, and operational performance
• Communicate updates, challenges, and wins to leadership
