Job summary

ALS is seeking a Warehouse Technician to support warehouse functions within the lab. The role involves sorting, locating and retrieving samples, scanning and receiving pallets, and assisting with deliveries and shipping. You will work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a focus on safety.

Requirements include a Grade 12 diploma and forklift experience (on-site certification preferred). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work varied shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and thoroughly.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse, internet).
• Basic verbal English communication and ability to read English.

Responsibilities

• Sort, locate and retrieve sample pulps and rejects from the warehouse.
• Scan and receive samples and pallets, consolidate samples, build pallets for storage, return or disposal.
• Conduct local deliveries and pickups as needed.
• Assist with shipping and receiving of samples for warehousing functions.
• Follow established procedures to ensure analytical quality and safety compliance.
