Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Richmond, BC is seeking a Warehouse Handling Operations Operator to perform manual loading/unloading, freight handling, and warehouse maintenance. You will ensure accurate receipts, proper documentation, and organized storage while delivering reliable service to internal and external customers.

The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, operate pallet jacks or forklifts, and read/write English fluently.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required for communication with customers and team members.
• High school diploma required; prior warehouse experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate basic warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive cargo from trucks by hand or using pallet jack or forklift.
• Verify cargo count and condition; note acceptance or rejection with notes.
• Record receipts in logs and ensure proper documentation.
• Sort cargo by account or destination and store correctly.
• Label freight for destination and perform forklift duties as needed.
• Maintain excellent internal and external customer service at all times.
• Assist in warehouse maintenance tasks and general duties as assigned.

Warehouse Handling Operations Operator

YOUR ROLE:

Responsible for manual loading and unloading of freight with the use of a pallet jack, hand truck or forklift, general labor and warehouse maintenance. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Receive cargo from incoming trucks by removing from truck by hand or by using manual equipment such as hand truck or pallet jack, or by using forklift.

Verify and note the count and condition of cargo received, knowing when to either refuse or accept with notation.

Record receipts to appropriate forms and/or log books.

Verify that proper documentation is attached.

Sort cargo received by account or intended location and store in proper location.

Accurately label freight to destination.

Perform forklift duties and learn to containerize basic loads.

Develop and maintain excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.

Assist in various warehouse maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors, storing equipment, etc.

Performs other duties as assigned.
