Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations.
  • Oversee processes and performance with MRO on parts issues and deliveries.
  • Ensure paperwork accuracy and traceability of parts.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse inventory locations and quantities.
  • Coordinate handling and storage of incoming/outgoing shipments.
  • Maintain records in the Tracking Database (Quantum) and reconcile discrepancies.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations.
  • Oversee processes and performance with MRO on parts issues and deliveries.
  • Ensure accuracy of paperwork with associated parts.
  • Ensure compliance with Avmax GPM.
  • Manage the reception, handling, distribution, and storage of all freight, product, and supplies that come in and out of the warehouse.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
  • Ensure accuracy of warehouse inventory in terms of location and quantity.
    • Stock locations and quantities, and Count Programs.
    • Related processes, reports, record keeping and related functions for reconciling.
  • Ensure all parts leaving warehouse and/or control are traceable.
  • Provide processes to ensure accuracy of inventory management.
  • Coordinate the handling of inventories.
  • Keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
  • Affix shipping labels to packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons, using stenciling equipment.
  • Assemble wooden or cardboard containers or select preassembled containers. Insert items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding.
  • Stamp, stencil, or glue identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers.
  • Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
  • Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
  • Assist in oversight of data management of inventory visibility and accuracy within Tracking Database; (Quantum)
    • Help develop, monitor and maintain standards and process for parts flow within Tracking Database.
    • Prepare report(s) and reconcile discrepancies and maintain accurate costs of inventory after upload.
  • Assist in oversight of compliance with Company Manuals in terms of processes and performance on parts issues, deliveries.
    • Help develop and maintain documented processes and standards and monitoring effectiveness.
    • Ensure the accuracy of paperwork and batch file systems through existing standards, while monitoring effectiveness, and maintaining documented process related to Quality Control in terms of inspection of parts, release of parts, Shelf life, Scrap and Returns Programs.
  • Participate in the establishment, organization, and implementation of short and long term goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures when required.
  • Control of the Shelf Life Program.
  • Control of the Scrap Program.
  • Other duties as assigned by direct report.
Qualifications
  • A minimum high school education, degree, or diploma in a related program(s) is considered an asset.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with databases and MS Office.
  • Ability to operate a forklift is an asset.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
Experience
  • Minimum 3 year of aviation-related warehouse experience.
  • Quantum experience is an asset.
