Job summary

PAL Aerospace in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a Warehouse Operator to manage receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. You will maintain airworthiness, accurate inventories, and support project delivery while collaborating with logistics, procurement, and QA teams.

The role requires attention to detail, safety compliance, and the ability to work with warehouse software and equipment. Evening shift is available after training.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts (with valid certification if required).
  • Able to obtain and maintain Level II – Secret clearance; ITAR/CCG clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments.
  • Organize and store materials to optimize space.
  • Prepare and package orders for shipment.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
  • Maintain inventory records with cycle counts and WMS updates.

Job description

PAL Aerospace is currently looking for a Warehouse Operator at our base located in Winnipeg, MB.

As a Warehouse Operator within the Aviation industry in Canada, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods and materials. Your primary focus will be to maintain airworthiness and organized inventory systems that support operational workflows and meet company standards for accuracy and timeliness. You will collaborate closely with logistics, procurement, and quality assurance teams to facilitate seamless supply chain operations. This role demands a strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols to maintain a secure and productive warehouse environment. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to the overall success of the organization by supporting timely project delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and accurately document incoming shipments to verify contents and condition.
  • Organize and store materials systematically to optimize space utilization and ease of access.
  • Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping regulations.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain inventory records through regular cycle counts and update warehouse management systems.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to prioritize and fulfill order requirements within designated timelines.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse processes and productivity.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts (with valid certification if required).
  • Strong physical stamina to handle manual tasks such as lifting and moving materials.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written);
  • Able to obtain and maintain Level II – Secret clearance;
  • Able to obtain and maintain ITAR / CCG clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education or training in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields.
  • Experience with warehouse management software (WMS) and barcode scanning technology.
  • Forklift operator certification recognized in Canada.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations specific to warehouse environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced setting.

Please note: Evening shift (1500-2300) once trained and qualified
