Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. Vaughan, ON is seeking a Forklift Operator to efficiently load and unload building materials in our warehouse. You will perform daily lift truck inspections, ensure maintenance needs are met, and build orders to specifications for delivery.

This role requires safety adherence, clear communication, and the ability to work with supervisors to meet customer demands. Eligible candidates must hold a valid propane forklift certification, have a minimum of two years' experience,

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification (propane).
• Minimum of two years' experience.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics.
• Basic hand tool skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of lift trucks and complete required forms.
• Ensure lift truck maintenance and servicing requirements are met.
• Build orders to required specifications for delivery.
• Load and unload building materials in a safe and efficient manner.
• Check load contents for accuracy and secure materials.
• Ensure that all products are shipped on schedule and according to specific instructions by management to meet customer demands.
• Maintain contact with supervisors and work to resolve issues as they arise.
• Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers.
