Job summary

Macdonald's Home Health Care in Vancouver, BC is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to support day-to-day equipment flow, cleaning, inspection, and preparation for reissue. You will move items between back-shop areas, assist with shipping and receiving, and help with interbranch transfers.

You should be detail-oriented, comfortable with manual tasks, and eager to learn basic assembly and repair of medical equipment. A valid driver's license and safe driving record are required.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Confidence operating a full-sized cargo van.
  • Mechanical aptitude and interest in equipment assembly/repair.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn inventory software.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and safety.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Ability to lift/move equipment safely.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, and prepare rental and assessment equipment for reissue.
  • Assist with inventory organization, stock control, and equipment readiness.
  • Support shipping, receiving, unpacking, inspecting, storing, and preparing equipment.
  • Prepare outgoing orders and interbranch transfers.
  • Drive between branches to complete equipment and inventory transfers.
  • Safely operate a full-sized cargo van and assist with loading and unloading equipment.
  • Learn basic medical equipment assembly, maintenance, and repair tasks.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and back-shop environment.

About the Role

In this role, you will support the day-to-day flow of equipment through our warehouse and back-shop areas. You will help clean, inspect, prepare, move, and track equipment, support shipping and receiving, assist with interbranch transfers, and learn basic assembly and repair tasks. This position is ideal for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable working with their hands, and open to learning new skills.

What You'll Do
