Job summary

Motion LP in Toronto, ON is hiring a Warehouse Associate (Cleaner) to help maintain a steady flow of mobility equipment. You will clean, sanitize and restock wheelchairs and other devices, support the inventory team, and assist with order processing and packing.

The role

We are adding a Warehouse Associate to our team in Toronto, ON. This posting is for an existing vacancy. You will drive warehouse efficiency and process improvement and collaborate with colleagues in all departments. This role will specifically help the inventory team by cleaning and sanitizing wheelchairs and other mobility equipment as they return to the building, restocking items into the warehouse, and supporting the team with other duties as required. As a Warehouse Associate (Cleaner), you will play a key role in ensuring continued flow of business through the location. This is a full-time position, working a regular Monday to Friday schedule alongside a strong team of Builders, Pickers, Service Technicians, and Administrators.

How you will spend your days:

• Cleaning. You will use non-toxic, environmentally friendly cleaning and sanitizing agents to ensure the safety of the equipment our clients and staff use.
• Restocking. You will restock equipment in the warehouse according to use and device and assist the picking team with maintaining stock levels
• Order Processing. You will liaise with the Service and Sales Coordinators to ensure accuracy of order details and ensure items are staged correctly for delivery.
• Process Mobility Devices and Equipment. You will act as the gatekeeper for all our inventory and physical assets stored in the warehouse, ensuring proper storage, cleaning, and packing as items enter or exit the dock. You will store, organize, and manage our inventory.
• Engaged Team Member. You will assist your team whenever needed. Whether that means interacting with a customer or helping other team members, you are ready, willing and able to move into the next task that needs your attention.

What you bring to the role:

• Experience. You have a minimum 1 year of relevant experience in an inventory handling or a general warehouse role. You are comfortable using computers, can learn new systems and databases, and have a moderate understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Communication skills. You can clearly and concisely communicate in person, over the phone or on paper. You can provide outstanding customer service to any visitors or vendors who may be entering the warehouse.
• Analytical skills. You are a strong problem solver with the ability to identify gaps and implement strategies for improvement.
• Flexibility. You are able to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects simultaneously. You are a true team player but can also work on your own with little supervision.
• Additional must-have requirements:you are able to lift up to 50lbs, have a clean criminal background check, and are bondable.
