Robertson Electric Wholesale, a leading Canadian electrical distributor, is seeking a delivery driver to join our team. You will deliver orders to customers, manage pickup and drop-offs, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid G license is required.
• Clean driver's abstract and CVOR are required.
• Experience driving a 3-ton, 5-ton, and flatbed is preferred.

• Customer service oriented with good communication.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in following instructions.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Ensuring incoming/outgoing products are in good condition.
• Pick-up and deliver various items and products.
• Use maps and other trip planning aids.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections.
• Record trip information (mileage, fuel costs, issues).
• Carry out any other duties assigned by management.

Scope of the Position:

The delivery driver staff are responsible for delivering orders and products to customers on a daily basis. They are responsible for driving to and from the pickup location to the destination, delivering goods/products and collecting the payment. They must ensure that they have the correct names and addresses of customers, and stay in contact with dispatchers for additional pick-ups. It is their duty to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the delivery vehicle and to ensure the safe delivery of the product without any delay or damage.

Major Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading trucks

• Pick-up and deliver various items and products
• Use maps and other trip planning aids
