You will pick, pack, label, and load shipments, with training provided from day one. The role involves heavy lifting up to 50 lbs and operating material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Works independently to pick orders accurately and on time.
• Accurately counts and puts inventory back into stock.
• Counts, packs, wraps and labels products onto skids.
• Wraps, ties, and places material on reels.
• Uses machinery to measure length of wire per specs.
• Loads and unloads trucks.
• Ensures incoming/outgoing products are in good condition.
• Maintains warehouse cleanliness as a team.
• Carries out other duties as assigned by management.

Scope of the Position

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for picking, packing, wrapping, and labeling products in an efficient manner. This position is also responsible for the loading and unloading of regular shipments, which includes heavy lifting up to and including 50 lbs., and the use of any material handling equipment. Another primary function of this role is to spool and cut wire of various sizes and weights to package and ship. Full training will be offered from day 1!

Major Responsibilities

• Works independently to manually pick orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Accurately counts and put inventory back into stock
• Counting, packing, wrapping and labeling products onto skids.
• Wrap, tie, and place material on reels
• Use and adjust machinery to measure length of wire to meet customer specifications
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Makes sure that incoming and outgoing products and material are in good condition
• Reliably works as a team to ensure warehouse cleanliness
• Responsible for carrying out any other duties assigned by management

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-3 years of warehouse experience
