Job summary

Robertson Electric Wholesale, part of the Sonepar Group, is seeking a delivery driver to service Canadian branches and customers. You will operate various trucks, load and unload shipments, and ensure timely, accurate deliveries while maintaining vehicle safety and proper documentation.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks
• Makes sure that incoming and outgoing products and material are in good condition
• Pick-up and deliver various items and products
• Use maps and other trip planning aids
• Perform pre-trip inspection of the vehicle
• Record trip information i.e., vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues
• Responsible for carrying out any other duties assigned by management

Scope of the Position:

The delivery driver staff are responsible for delivering orders and products to customers on a daily basis. They are responsible for driving to and from the pickup location to the destination, delivering goods/products and collecting the payment. They must ensure that they have the correct names and addresses of customers, and stay in contact with dispatchers for additional pick-ups. It is their duty to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the delivery vehicle and to ensure the safe delivery of the product without any delay or damage.

Major Responsibilities:
