Job summary

Staples Canada in Amherst, NS is seeking a Warehouse Break Pack associate for a full-time, Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5pm role. You will support inbound and outbound operations, handle orders, and maintain warehouse space while following safety procedures. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, become certified to operate warehouse equipment, and work well in a team. G license preferred for loader position.

Warehouse Address: 9 Tantramar Cres, Amherst, NS, B4H 4J6

Shift Time: Full-time, Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5pm

Wage: $17.40 per hour

Some of what you will do:

Perform system and/or manual tasks to support inbound and outbound operations. Identify and resolve issues in various functional areas; breakpack , breakdown, put away, replenishment, QC, staging, loading, shipping. Support efficient warehouse processing and maximize warehouse space usage. Perform work under the direction of warehouse lead, supervisor or manager.

Specifically, you will:

This position requires moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity to perform the essential duties of this role:

The employee will regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee may lift, lower, or carry products up to a maximum of 50 pounds by hand.

The employee may operate warehouse equipment. Using proper safety procedures will eliminate any potential hazards.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
