Westerner Park is seeking Warehouse Attendants to join our casual team in Red Deer, Alberta. The role supports daily operations by maintaining inventory, stocking supplies, and assisting with event setup and breakdown.

Hours vary with events, offering flexibility for reliable, detail‑oriented team players. Ideal candidates are comfortable in coolers/freezers, able to lift and move items, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, inventory, or stockroom experience is an asset.
• Comfortable working in coolers, freezers, and fast-paced environments.
• Strong attention to detail with solid organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming deliveries and supplies.
• Stock and restock warehouse locations, concession stands, kitchens, bars, and event spaces.
• Rotate stock using FIFO to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Conduct routine inventory counts and report discrepancies or shortages to warehouse leadership.
• Maintain organized storage areas to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Pull, stage, and distribute inventory and equipment for scheduled events.
• Assist with pre-event setup and post-event breakdown, including stock reconciliation.
• Ensure event supplies are delivered accurately and on time according to event requirements.
• Follow safety procedures for lifting, equipment use, and food handling.

Position Overview

Westerner Park is seeking Warehouse Attendants to join our dynamic team. The Warehouse Attendant supports the daily operations of the event center by maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring timely stocking of supplies, and assisting with event setup and breakdown. This casual, event-based position offers flexible hours that vary depending on event schedules and operational needs. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Stock Management

• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming deliveries and supplies
• Stock and restock warehouse locations, concession stands, kitchens, bars, and event spaces as needed
• Rotate stock using FIFO principles to ensure product freshness and minimize waste
• Conduct routine inventory counts and report discrepancies or shortages to warehouse leadership
• Maintain organized storage areas to ensure efficiency and safety

Event Support

• Pull, stage, and distribute inventory and equipment for scheduled events
• Assist with pre-event setup and post-event breakdown, including returns and reconciliation of stock
• Ensure event supplies are delivered accurately and on time based on event requirements
• Support last-minute event needs and restocks during live events as required

Warehouse Organization & Safety

• Keep the warehouse, coolers, freezers, and storage areas clean and orderly
• Follow all safety procedures for lifting, equipment uses, and food handling
• Report damaged goods, safety concerns, or equipment issues promptly
• Assist with waste reduction, recycling, and proper disposal practices

This role is expected to adapt to organizational needs and may take on additional duties or responsibilities as required.

Here is What You Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous warehouse, inventory, or stockroom experience is an asset
• Comfortable working in coolers, freezers, and fast-paced environments
• Strong attention to detail with solid organizational skills
• Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event days
• ProServe and Food Safe certifications are considered assets
• First Aid/CPR certification is an asset
• Valid driver’s license required
• Physically able to work in a warehouse setting, including standing for extended periods and lifting equipment or supplies as needed
